Route Selection:
Rogha Bealaigh

Following on from the Constraints Study which was published in March 2000, twelve Route Options, including variations of some, were identified. These were then short listed down to two Route Options comprising an Eastern and Western Bypass of Coonagh for further consideration.

These two Route Options were then assessed on Environmental, Engineering and Economic grounds and the Western Option was recommended by the Consultants in the Route Selection Report (published September 2001). The report is available to view or print on the Publications Page.
