Purpose
of Constraints Report:
Cuspóir le Tuarascáil Iallaigh:
To identify all the appropriate constraints within the Study Area which might
impact on choosing potential routes for the new road. It focuses on determining
what constraints (physical, procedural, legal, environmental, etc.) exist that
could affect the design of the scheme, that could delay the progress of the scheme,
and that could influence the cost of the scheme.
Constraints relating
to community, environment, physical impact, visual/landscape, business, cultural
heritage, archaeology, land-use, leisure and recreation factors were identified
in the study.
All constraints identified in the full Constraints Report
are important. The constraints have been identified as being of primary importance
in selecting a suitable route for the Limerick Southern Ring Road Phase II project.
