The Consultant's Recommendations of the Western Route Option and Tunnel Crossing Type were displayed at Jury's Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th June 2001.

122 people attended and each received a brochure outlining the Consultant's Recommendations. Some concerns were raised at this Public Display in relation to the change in the layout of the N20 crossing at Ballinacurra/Ballykeefe.

A revised low level alignment for the Limerick Southern Ring Road - Phase II at Ballinacurra is now recommended. The existing Cork/Tralee Road will be raised to fly over the Railway Line, the re-aligned Ballinacurra Creek and the lowered Limerick Southern Ring Road Phase II.
